Jeffrey’s Birthday Fundraiser for Cornerstone Community Outreach

From Mr. Jeffrey A. Hale:

For my birthday this year, I’m asking for donations to Cornerstone Community Outreach. The harvest is all around you. All around you are people who need ministering, love, encouragement, help, support, the Word, the Gospel, and the presence of Yeshua/Jesus. You don’t need somebody to give you a pulpit, a title, or go attend “Theological Cemetery” for a certificate. Look around and you’ll see the harvest of which Our Messiah spoke. Look around and see your family, your town, your job, your congregation, your country, your world, your life. Find the need. Because there’s no shortage of needs. In serving the need around you, you’ll begin to fulfill the calling on your life. And you’ll find that the harvest is definitely plentiful. Facebook friends, today find the need around you and fulfill His calling in your life. Amen? * Cornerstone Community Outreach (CCO), a Illinois not-for-profit organization, was founded in 1989 to raise the quality of life for low-income residents in the Uptown area of Chicago. And over the last twenty-nine years, CCO’s programs have expanded to serve nearly 500 men, women and children daily. With Cornerstone’s help these families and individuals can begin to build a new life, one step at a time. Browse the site to read the wonderful stories of success from the families and individuals who have stayed at CCO.

Matthew 25:34-40  (KJV)

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

The Whole Grain Train…

The above photo is a good look my last grocery trip. I’m jumpin’ on the whole grain train!

So… I had an ultrasound done of my entire abdomen along with a bunch of labs. Everything turned out normal. I was ever grateful for this, but there was just no answer! With all of the pain in my side I’ve been experiencing for over a month, and almost two now, no diagnosis.

I did some research and some thinking. Perhaps what is going on is related to my gastrointestinal parts. First of all, I am Lactose intolerant, and yet for the longest time I’d been eating cereal with regular skim milk. I know, right!?! Yogurt, too! I’ve been a sucker for Greek yogurt for a very long time, and anything dairy… However, I do tolerate cheese very, very well.

Maybe its all finally caught up with me.

Finally, I have no gallbladder. It was removed in 2006. This means that greasy foods are a big no no-as are foods that are high in fat content. Since I married in 2009, fast food has been a true friend to me. I am taking a stand, prompted by pain, and the desire to be a healthy person and lose even more weight, feeling better in every way!

So, here’s a toast to change. Positive change. Life changes that transform us into our best selves. Improvement!

God bless everyone today!

Get out there and make some memories! Not going any place today? While you’re at home, think on ways you can help change the world. It begins with you! And remember you are right where you are supposed to be in the moment!

Take care of yourselves-we all have different health issues, allergies, and struggles. Life is too short to worry or stress too much. Share a smile, and as Dr. Maya Angelou said, “Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud!”

Personal Journey

You’re That Somebody!

I love this poster!!!

I have caught myself saying that exact same thing as many of you may have as well over time. We are the change. The greatest project, greatest piece of art, building, movement of society, and any feat begins with the spark within one soul.

Friends, WE ARE “That Somebody.”

You were born a hope to someone in need of help. You were created to make people smile, bring joy to this planet!!! You were born to not only walk this journey, but to share in it with others, and develop divine friendships and relationships that would last beyond this life… You are meant to thrive in this life! People say we should ‘live it to the fullest’ a lot but they don’t always explain themselves. To me, living life to the fullest involves dedication to our goals and reaching them, devotion to our loved ones, the practice of self love in taking care of our bodies, the Temple of God for many, feeding our minds and spirits not only our bellies! A rich full life is found in making our mark in fulfilling our destiny while living out the purpose in our hearts.

I have said it before…

Our individual gifts are unique, and made to share with others, and with the world! We all have something to contribute, to share. What are you going to bring to the table? Don’t hesitate to let yourself shine! You are a diamond, dear friend! If you are uncertain of what your talent is or what you think your purpose lies in, just do some soul searching. What matters most to you? How could you bring your ideas to life and make use of them to help or inspire others? More importantly, what makes you happy?

You’ve got time! Your heart is beating, you are breathing, and able to be reading this, so something is going well for you! Keep the faith, precious one!

God bless you.

I send love to all of you today! Best wishes, always…

Personal Journey

Never Give Up. This Man will Blow Your Mind!!!

47 Year old Veteran can’t walk due to war-related injuries, gets rejected by many yoga instructors as he seeks for help. Well, all but one…
That’s where the miracle begins!
In this short video, you see this physically disabled man display a determination like no other, and as he begins to believe in himself, his transformation takes off! Such a joy to see!
The end will really amaze you!
I think you will find this video inspiring and encouraging you (and I, as I just finished it) could even look inside yourself. Are you driven enough to achieve what it is that you so desire?

Friends, *Believe* in yourself, and you (and I) will be surprised at what can be accomplished!

Quote from this remarkable video, goes something like
“Just because I cannot do it today doesn’t mean that I won’t ever be able to.”

There are books, stories, poems and articles that are just waiting to be written, songs waiting to be sung, words meant to be said, audiences waiting for words of encouragement to enter their ears and fill their hearts, lives to be saved, dreams to be realized, and changes to be made…so much! All of this by none other than yourself, my friend! What the world needs is what you have! There is a gift within you just waiting to be shared with the planet! You were born to change this world, not survive in it! Not everyone was sent to be an author, an actress, a doctor, a dancer, a news anchor, teacher, lawyer, scientist, college graduate, or the President, or ruler of your government! No matter what level you take it to, your talent is right there inside of you, waiting to be shared, and I encourage you to try and tap into it. 🙂

I hope that this video really reaches you as it did me. It is almost 1 a.m. and I am wide awake due to recent experiences in my life that have kept me, my mood, and my sleep yo-yo-ing. Things are looking up. I am exercising at least 5 days a week for 30 minutes, watching portion intake, and drinking lots of water instead of soda, filled with sugar and carbs. Its only been near 2 weeks and I am already slightly able to tell a difference in my shirts. 🙂

I have recommended this website in the recent past, but boy will I recommend it again! The more positive we put into our minds, the more we will be tall and bullet proof to the negative this world/society throws at us! I hope this video helps you feel good in some way today, and that you have a wonderful Friday! The weekend is here, everyone! God bless, and keep on keepin’ on!!!
