Slip Sliding Away. Daily Devotional with Mr. Jeffrey A. Hale ♥

🎶Whoah God only knows, God makes his plan
The information’s unavailable to the mortal man
We’re workin’ our jobs, collect our pay
Believe we’re gliding down the highway,
when in fact we’re slip sliding away🎶

“Slip Sliding Away” was originally written in 1975 and was considered to be on the Paul Simon Album of that years “Still Crazy After All These Years” it was decided not to release the song that year. The song was eventually released in 1977 and appeared on the album “Greatest Hits Etc…” It was also released as a single in October 1977 and instantly became a hit. The song has a number of possible meanings. One possible meaning is that the song is about how we reflect on life passing us by, and the regrets we have in that life for the choices we’ve made. First verse: a man’s overpowering love for the (wrong?) woman causes him to “lose” his identity. Second verse: a woman who “became a wife,” whose “good days” aren’t so good, and who’s “bad days” are spent wondering how much life has to offer, and how she made the wrong choice in a husband. Third verse: a father who abandoned his son and traveled far to tell him why, to explain, only to leave, knowing he couldn’t ever make his son understand why his dad left him. Last verse: we think we’ve got it all figured out, but ONLY in the moment. When we look back, we’ll wonder why we didn’t do things differently. The song has many meanings and is written in that way, to prompt reflection on life. Paul Simon is a expert lyricist and know how to weave a good song. The song indeed is about life passing us by and the regrets we have for the choices we make. The feeling that kind of reflection engenders is that of life sliding away from beneath us and we are powerless to do anything about it. Facebook friends, once you have experienced His love I’m not sure how you can feel content living outside that love once more. We must be on our guard daily as apathy and the world’s values have a creeping effect and before long we have slidden. If you recognize this morning that this is where you are at, ask YeHoVaH/God like David did in his sliding away “Restore to me the Joy of My Salvation”. May you know today a living relationship with Yeshua/Jesus that sustains you and may you resolve to not slip away. Amen

Christianity, Personal Journey

Profound. Amazing. POWER. JESUS!

I sit here in awe tonight, reflecting on the events of my 2017. This has definitely been one of the hardest years of my life with the demonic oppression following my sin, the chastening of The Lord…and the fresh Manna my God provided in my Wilderness! Yes, just like with the Israelites, in all of my troubles, God provided new friends with an online church assembly via the Zoom social media platform. I lost my best friend a few years ago when I went all out for Jesus and could no longer walk in fellowship with her, willingly breaking things off. But…God is Faithful and He is not a man that He should lie. The Lord Jesus has provided me with hundreds of friends and a nice handful of best-friends whom with I confide in and grow in Christ. Iron sharpens iron.

Matthew 19:29 King James Version (KJV)

And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

So…these are my People! The Brothers and Sisters in Christ The Lord Jesus led me to!

http://deliveranceministry.com.au/fellowship-calendar/ This calendar shows all the groups, days, times that we meet in zoom…don’t miss sat! That’s our main one.

This is a Deliverance Ministry. Until this year I truly believed that deliverance ministry was of the devil and just crazy  until I encountered demonic oppression for myself..and yes, contrary to what most Christians are AWARE OF, Christians can have demons. Our flesh and mind are not saved. You can read up on that in the link above to the website. Our spirits are saved. We are eternal beings in fleshly bodies, just clay. Keys to The Kingdom Deliverance Ministry is deliverance focused but we also provide healing for those in need by The Power of The Holy Spirit. It’s beyond amazing to see the captives set free…and the brokenhearted find comfort!

Isaiah 61:1-3 King James Version (KJV)

61 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

I am so grateful…and it’s only by The GRACE OF GOD that I am still standing today! This year included sleepless nights of demonic torment, drinking Caffeine to get through it all and praying warfare prayers before dark as the latter parts of the night is when the powers of darkness are most active. I was introduced to praying against witchcraft attacks this year but praying for the salvation of the souls and blessings upon those practicing evil against me. Spiritual warfare is now a daily routine for me. Now that I am no longer carnal and lukewarm and I am an active Christian, sharing and living out the FULL GOSPEL, I am considered a real threat to the kingdom of darkness. We war not against flesh and blood. The enemy does not come at Christians who attend church services once a week and leave Jesus behind in the pew afterward.

So…yeah, I just wanna invite anybody who’s interested in learning about deliverance ministry or desires to hang out and fellowship with a group of true believers who live out the true GOSPEL of Christ, not just part..we are it. One of them. We don’t cut Jesus off at verse 16! He was still talking there, Church! 🙂

Mark 16:16-20 King James Version (KJV)

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

It’s such a blessing for me! Fellowship is a must in these last days and end times! I truly believe Father GOD is raising up a GIANT right now for a final harvest of souls. His Will is that none should perish and we could never understand just how great His mercy is… REAL CHRISTIANITY IS EXCITING! It’s about having a Relationship with Father God, our Lord Jesus Christ and The Mighty Holy Spirit of God! We die daily to ourselves because it is no longer us who live but Christ..we are hidden in Him. All my life I searched for an identity. Praise God, He led me to MINE! I am following Jesus.

Child of God, Remember..you may be the only Ambassador of Christ that the world and people you meet will ever see and experience! Today I stepped into multiple Divine Appointments by our Lord. One of them was where I approached a woman who turned out to be a Sister in Christ and just TODAY he was diagnosed with Lung Cancer! God sent me to REPRESENT HIS SON! As a Messenger of The Gospel, I was a vessel of hope for these precious souls. You can read about this amazing encounter in my last post. The Glory is God’s! If you are willing to put yourself out there as a willing Disciple, laying all pride aside, God WILL use you! You WILL see miracles! His timing is perfect. Every day is different, but you know what? Now that I am living a Godly life in Christ, sharing the Full Gospel daily and reaching out to a dark and dying world of lost souls…keeping in mind that everyone I see has one of two eternal destinations..I CAN’T WAIT TO GET UP AND DO IT AGAIN! The true Christian life is SO FULFILLING! God will show you your place in The Body of Christ. Seek His Face now, precious one. We have work to do and people to reach! Amen! Praise JESUS!!!

I have begun to pray this daily since He showed it to me…when I want to know what adventure and Kingdom work He has for me that day 🙂

Psalm 37:5 King James Version (KJV)

Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

It’s about resting in the finished work of The CROSS in Jesus. It’s about TRUSTING HIM.

Be blessed in JESUS’ NAME!

He Nourishes What Little Faith We Have…

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”  Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

I believe God is speaking this to me today.

I don’t wanna be in Egypt anymore…

I went out into the world today to go shopping and listened to some worldly music on Spotify in the car. I was fed up at the beginning of my drive with life but in prayer I was honest with God in letting Him know/reminding Him that my heart has hardened and I feel nothing. I come to Him demon oppressed, not weeping or fasting. I’ve tried and I just cannot defeat this stuff in my own strength. At all. So I came home and put on the sermon about the struggles in our faith by Pastor Charles Lawson out of Knoxville, Tennessee.

I typed this message out from a sermon by Charles Lawson called “A Bruised Reed He Shall Not Break.” ( Isaiah 42:3 )

If you’re a smoking flax or a bruised reed, He’s not gonna quench what little bit of faith is left. He won’t break that reed. He will nourish what little bit of faith you’ve got and bind you up as The Shepherd does a lamb. He will carry you further than you ever thought He would carry you. He’ll stick with you longer than you thought anybody would ever stick with you. He’ll put up with more from you than you thought anybody could ever put up with.
You’ll make promises to God that you’ll break and you’ll make another promise and you’ll break it and He’ll still be there! Because He said I’ll never leave thee and I’ll never forsake thee, and you’ll begin to learn something about Him. You’ll find out that when He says something He means it. You’ll find out that your relationship with God is built upon His Character. He’ll always, always, always be the same yesterday, today and forever. Amen.
Thank You Jesus…Praise God! †

Psalm 136:1 (KJV)

O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
