Daily Devotional with Mr. Jeffrey A. Hale ♥

🎶The heart is a bloom
Shoots up through the stony ground
There’s no room
No space to rent in this town

You’re out of luck
And the reason that you had to care
The traffic is stuck
And you’re not moving anywhere

You thought you’d found a friend
To take you out of this place
Someone you could lend a hand
In return for grace

It’s a beautiful day
Sky falls, you feel like
It’s a beautiful day
Don’t let it get away🎶

The song “BEAUTIFUL DAY” is from the U2 Album ALL THAT YOU CAN’T LEAVE BEHIND (October 2000) it reached to No 1 in the UK singles chart and as far as 21 in the US singles chart. This song came out in the back drop to the Jubilee 2000 campaign that Bono was involved with. It was during the making of the “All you can’t leave behind” album that Bono, who was in the US and on a crusade, experiencing a surge of optimism sat down with arch conservative Congressman Jesse Helms in Washington. “Somehow the result of the important meeting was to hit an emotional nerve with the Congressman. The US got on board to the tune $435 million dollars in cancelled debts. Maybe the world wasn’t such a bad place after all. There was hope “It’s a beautiful day!” Edge reached for the Explorer, the Gibson guitar he’d used during U2’s formative years, and the sound was complete. It was a shimmering triumph in more ways than one.” The song is a cry from the heart to open up your eyes to those who need you, and stop denying that earth has become a broken mess by human greed and get busy doing something about the brokenness. Evidence of a broken world lies all around us. We are aware of it when we turn on the TV or read the news papers. We are assaulted by it from all directions. Reminded about the broken fragments of human life from dawn till dusk. If we are unlucky it even haunts our dreams. Contemporary life is filled with brokenness. In many neighbourhoods people don’t have to to go to far to touch the broken fragments of peoples lives. The song “Beautiful Day” reminds us of hope in the middle of the shards of broken lives. The song can be heard as a haunting prophetic voice that reminds us all of the person and the purpose of Yeshua/Jesus. “to seek and save the lost” The song provokes those who hear it towards hope. We are reminded of the hopeful message of Yeshua/Jesus to those who live life in the dirt or on the margins and at the same time the song rings out the challenging and disturbing message of our Messiah to those in power. Facebook friends,
hope, “Don’t let it get away” Just think what it would look like to live in a world of hope rather than a world of despair. “EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE” Get busy today and do something about the brokenness. Amen?

Personal Journey

Daily Devotional with Mr. Jeffrey A. Hale ♥

I watched a video last night about Yeshua/Jesus being a carpenter or a stonemason. While I can’t say conclusively one way or the other, the fact is that a man attempting to make a living as a wood carpenter would have had a challenging time because trees were, and still are, relatively scarce in that region. Whether He was a carpenter working with wood or a stonemason has no bearing on his work as Savior of the world. Regardless, He learned a trade from his earthly father, and He is still shaping His followers today, fitting them together into a spiritual house, a temple that is built to bring glory to YeHoVaH/God. A carpenter or stonemason specializes in putting things together. A carpenter or stonemason takes pieces of material and out of them forms something beautiful. If you’re human and living on this planet, chances are you’ve seen parts of your life break apart, dreams, relationships, promises, and hearts. We’ve all experienced missing pieces. Our lives need the hands of a man like Yeshua/Jesus. His specialty is to take the brokenness and piece it together until your life turns out to be something beautiful. Your part is to let Him have all the pieces. Bring to Him all of your brokenness your sorrows, losses, frustrations, hurts, and wounds. Give Him your broken dreams, relationships, promises, and broken hearts. Put them all into His hands. You don’t have to struggle with your life. You can entrust it into His hands because His hands are the hands of a master carpenter or stonemason. Facebook friends, today give Yeshua/Jesus any part of your life or heart that is or has been broken. Trust Him to redeem the broken pieces. Amen? https://youtu.be/slnvGbfBx0M

You Don’t Have to Take The Broken Road…

TURN AROUND by Matt Maher

Track art

Young man on the side of the road
Lost and beat up with nowhere to go
Smells like a hangover from days ago
He does what he can to survive

Single mom with a dead end job
Ninety hour week just to keep what she’s got
With the bills that add up and now she’s caught
She does what she can to survive

Well, let me say
That love won’t take away the pain
But don’t be afraid
‘Cause it will never walk away

If you’re scared that you don’t matter
If you’re lost and need to be found
If you’re looking for a Savior
All you gotta do is turn around

Some turn to a bottle
Some turn to a drug
Some turn to another’s arms
But it seems like it’s never enough

Well I won’t say, that you will never fail again
But there is grace
To wash away your every sin

If you’re scared that you don’t matter
If you’re lost and need to be found
If you’re looking for a Savior
All you gotta do is turn around

No one listens to you anymore
And your heart has broken down
You don’t need to move
Love has come to you
All you gotta do is turn around
All you gotta do is turn around
Turn around

You don’t have to take the broken road
You can turn around and come back home

You don’t have to take the broken road
You can turn around and come back home

You don’t have to take the broken road
You can turn around and come back home

If you’re scared that you don’t matter
If you’re lost and need to be found
If you’re looking for a Savior
All you gotta do is turn around

No one listens to you anymore
And your heart has broken down
You don’t need to move
Love has come to you
All you gotta do is turn around
All you gotta do is turn around

And to All The Bad Thoughts…

And to All The Bad Thoughts...

WOW! That’s what I said when I saw this! Ha Ha! This one packs a powerful punch! God bless you guys today, and remember NO MATTER WHAT you are going through, God is still there. Don’t lose faith. In the midst of the storm, call upon Him, make your needs known via prayer aloud to Him through Christ. Also, very importantly, always lets give our Maker thanks in the storms of life. He never, ever leaves us! The enemy tries to make us think that and would love for us to believe it…but GOD is our True best friend. He’s the only one there when no one else can be, and you’re all alone, the One that will be there forever until we pass on.

Yesterday, I shed many tears, and doubt began to creep into my fragile, vulnerable mind. My spirit ached as I sat alone in our dark bedroom last night. My husband was gone with his brother to the store. My dad had been sick yesterday, and deals with a rough life daily anyway without legs…so many other family issues, like the fact that mom, dad, my sister and I are all four separated in different places. This weighed on my mind as well. It was just everything! All of the brokenness in my life, the pain that this winter brought, and all the tears…

So I did the best thing that anybody could ever do. I sent up a prayer. I told God that I was sorry for doubting Him, and that I just needed Him to breathe on my life a healing that only He could provide, and to open the Heavens and let blessings of peace, love, restoration, and happiness rain down on my life, my family, and my marriage. I believe He will come through! He has never failed me, and has even spared my life more than just once.

Don’t ever give up on our God…He never gives up on us. 🙂

Blessing to you all today!

-Amanda
