“Steve Austin, astronaut. A man barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world’s first bionic man. Steve Austin will be that man. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.” The Six Million Dollar Man
Ahhhh, what it was like to be a kid growing up in the 1970’s when this show came on. I remember this series coming on television very well. For one, I was one of those kids who from some reason was glued to the set when this show came on Friday Nights on ABC-TV during the 1970’s. I was one of those kids who for some reason went out and brought up a lot of memorabilia stuff including all of the merchandise that flew off the shelves relating to this show. This is one of the ways you can tell you’re getting old, when someone says the name “Steve Austin.” Do you think of a bald wrestler rolling around on the mat groping other guys, or Lee Majors moving in slow motion and squinting? I think of the latter. This show was great fun. It had a good premise, and Lee Majors was perfectly cast has Steve Austin. Of course it was Sci-Fi. In retrospect YeHoVaH/God created us better than Steve Austin. As I was reading the book of Hebrews today, it says that YeHoVaH/God is the builder of everything. In messenger recently I “discussed with an atheist about creation.” I proceeded to explain, when you see leaves, butterflies or flowers, they have a builder. The most complex HDTV cannot compare to the complexity of the human eye. The most complex stereo system cannot compare to the complexity of the human ear. All the electrical systems known to man cannot compare to the complexity of one human cell. And the most complex computer ever devised by human intelligence cannot compare to the complexity of the human brain. So why would anybody believe that these things came about by accident? Would you believe a TV came about with no builder? So which is more ridiculous? The fact is YeHoVaH/God is The Builder of everything, or it all happened by chance? Facebook friends, be strong and rejoice in the fact that He also built you. He gave His Son for you, and He’s now building your life into something good and precious. So let Him build you. And be built up, because He is The Builder of everything. Today, take time to appreciate all the wonderful things of YeHoVaH/God’s creation. Amen?
