1 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
2 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying,
3 Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
4 And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.
5 So he went and did according unto the word of the Lord: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
6 And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.
7 And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.
8 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying,
9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.
10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.
12 And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.
14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.
15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.
16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah.
17 And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him.
18 And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son?
19 And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed.
20 And he cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?
21 And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this child’s soul come into him again.
22 And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.
23 And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth.
24 And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in thy mouth is truth.
If people would just wake up and see all of the chaos around them (the majority censored on mainstream news or unreported). “What in the world is going on?” you might ask. The reason why is so simple. Human history is coming to a close, and that’s much easier to understand if you look into the Bible aka The Word of God. This is God’s story. It’s wrapping up and eventually the story of man and all the rest of God’s creation will be closed forever.
So, there’s basically 2 options.
2. Reject Jesus, and endure the worst times ever in the history of man.
God always finishes what He starts. Since God created it all, He will be the One ending the story. Not man. It’s all unraveling. The remaining prophecies in the Bible must be fulfilled. The Powers that be have planned destruction and turmoil, but they have no idea how just how terrible the things to come really are. God has the final say and He can and will use everything accordingly.
GOD is about to judge the world. The Tribulation. War, plagues, demons, darkness, inflation/financial collapse/coming Mark of The Beast and much more. In case you haven’t read up, there’s going to be a one world monetary system. I’m sure that’s why there’s great economic disaster in a bunch of countries already. The elite powers that be must tear it all down to build this ONE. What will the new currency be? How will people be paying for things? Will there be an implanted RFID Chip put inside consumers? Without the Mark of the Beast you cannot buy or sell. So you cannot live comfortably or survive this Tribulation that’s about to spill over if you choose to follow God. Taking the Mark will damn your soul forever, and you can’t undo it. Storing up food probably won’t do you any good unless you’re a millionaire. Keep in mind Christians will be beheaded during this 7 year nightmare. You must not and cannot ever deny Jesus and make it into Heaven.
I urge you to consider coming to Jesus TODAY because any moment now, He will be returning for those that are His. The Children of God will not be here for the 7 years of hell on earth. Of course we aren’t guaranteed any more time in life. Any of us could die at any time. Are you ready for eternity?
I encourage you to look into these things asap! Get a copy of the King James Version Bible and seek Him for yourself.
Time’s going to go on either way. With or without Jesus. One thing’s for sure…
You will meet Him at some point.
Flesh melts like wax.
Cars bend and fall apart.
Houses need new roofs, plumbing…repairs.
Careers are solid until/if your health declines.
Money is hard for most to come by, yet so quickly it goes.
The things of this world will never truly make anyone happy.
We can’t ever completely catch up. The madness is endless.
We see the richest of rich having affairs, plastic surgery, sex changes, and all sorts of things because even having it ALL on earth is not enough (Just being very wealthy doesn’t mean that you are doing these). There’s always going to be a longing for something more, no matter what your place in society concerning money and all else.
It’s amazing how the majority of what’s on television today is reality t.v. & It’s also amazing what passes the approval to become a reality show. People seem to eat it up. Human beings are very much caught up in the things of this life while missing the point. What happened to classic sitcoms-fictional characters facing everyday life stuff? The world is all grown up now, and far less censored than when I was a kid.
How much further can we take it?
The person most dedicated to his or her faith is not immune. It is very easy to become distracted by the things that shimmer, the things the flood our homepages and Facebook News-feeds.
Human beings are silly little creatures. I mean, we really can be. It is so mortal, so fleshy of us, and so carnal to become envious, and eat jealousy. To hate people for things they’ve done to us, when the truth is, we are just as capable of doing the same stuff to them, whether we believe so or not. Forgiveness.
Nobody is better than anybody else in this world. I don’t see reason for one mortal to be great and another small. It doesn’t matter what your life looks like to someone else, its what it feels like to you.
What are you living for?
You may be in a place of peace, happiness, any of all sorts of points across the spectrum. Perhaps the opposite end, severely depressed, and even suicidal.
This is another thing about us human beings. We experience sadness or darkness, and deal with our circumstances in our own ways, but the thing is, there’s more than just what we think or believe. I suppose when you are asked what you are living for, the question of why are you here may arise. It’s because these 2 things are tied together.
You were given life because you are supposed to be here. It may not make sense. Ever. But it is truth. Your life matters. Wherever you are, and whatever you believe or consider to be that makes up your very identity.
There’s so much more to think about than what we have here. Look at the headlines of the news, via paper or online. Anybody at least 20 years old can tell things have really taken a dramatic turn around in the last…years. Point is, we mustn’t take anything for granted, nor get too comfy here in this crazy world that is growing crazier day by day.
Do you know Jesus?
There’s more than this. The Fountain of Living Water is outpouring, free of charge to all who ask.
The things ‘I want for Christmas’ or in this life, have changed over the years. The new & shiny, black Cadillac, the fancy home in an untouchable neighborhood by the ocean side, that private practice I’m not opening, trips to Europe or exotic islands…that’s not me anymore. I want to ride home on the wings of Angels someday..to my mansion on streets of gold, by the River of Life, flowing from the Throne of God-that is incomparable to any body of water on this earth. I don’t have to have a PhD to get in.
God doesn’t give up on us like people do.
We were saved by the blood of Jesus on the Cross, by God’s Mercy.
Recently, I began thinking about how much time I spent in my younger years of life (and even now) looking at the lives of others, seeing how green their grass was as opposed to mine…
Taking the time to open the eyes of my heart and addressing the blessings of another creates an awareness of jealousy. I’ve found that once we analyze this we can easily see the humanness behind it all. We see our insecurities, fears, and the comparison of our lives to those of others (which is pointless and only encouraged by evil to ultimately destroy us with the hardening of the heart). The feelings of anger and frustration steal our joy. If this isn’t addressed to be taken care of, all of the potential inside of us, along with our very own gifts is waste.
The amount of energy put into the concern of some other person’s success, blessings, and the fruits of their labor could be used to accomplish things in our own lives.
So, be yourself, changing the world in the way that only you can!
I know that I need to be vocal and take action to express my delight in the success of others. I must keep my eyes fixed on my own homework, as copying leads to failure. I need to practice selflessness, thanking God for it all in praise and prayers of gratitude. In being observant of the needs of others, and not mine alone, I will live a far more fulfilling life. The peace is like nothing else.
God bless, dear friends.
This year I have learned 2 major lessons to life.
No matter who you are, where you are. This applies.
No one Else’s prayer is any better than yours. It doesn’t take a long line of intellectual dialogue to communicate with God. He is listening for words from your heart. Cry out and tell Him what hurts. Tell Him what you need. Tell Him how thankful you are for the very breath you breathe.
2. My life was dramatically, forever changed when I not only spoke to the Lord, but I started listening. Signs began showing up in my life. I received hints from Heaven.
You might ask, How does one listen to God?
Of course I agree with my brothers and sisters in Christ that we hear by the Word. The Truth of The Bible is how God speaks. It’s also…in being open for these great signs, blessings, and miracles. Let your faith be wide open, like the sky. When you are open to God you are able to understand, to hear Him…and receive all of these things.
Let’s let go of yesterday and enjoy today. Tomorrow is not promised. So, share your love. You are the rainbow in someone else’s cloud even if unaware! :0) You are an answered prayer waiting to be delivered. There is this blessing inside of you that only you and you alone are capable of sharing with the world! Unleash your spark!
