🎶I’ll follow you down through the eye of the storm
Don’t worry I’ll keep you warm.
I’ll follow you down while we’re passing through space
I don’t care if we fall from grace
I’ll follow you down🎶
A young couple in love picking dandelions in a hazy, dreamlike field in the mountains…walking hand in hand to the mountain’s edge, gazing out at the water below. A romantic moment captured at the base of a cascading waterfall. A solitary place to wash the world away and live in the moment for two people who seem to need nothing but each other to enjoy true happiness. A bird’s eye view of an evolving relationship that culminates in a wedding and a white picket fence. Images like these would seem to be out of place in a hard rock music video, but Shinedown makes it work perfectly within the confines of the video for their most recent single, “I’ll Follow You,” off of their hit album, Amaryllis. “Ill Follow You” is an uncompromising song. Literally, It’s a song about “No Compromise” It’s a song that is about not settling for anything else, not settling for second best. The song is full of illustrations of that. Shinedown use the lyrics like an artist uses a paint brush to tell the story of no compromise devotion. In the song it is devotion and no compromise to a person but you don’t have to go too far to appreciate that this sentiment could be carried over to most spheres of life. The theme dedication and no compromise is in the reading for today. We join uncompromising Elijah on Mount Carmel with the prophets of Baal in 1 Kings 18. This is where Elijah taunts the prophets to prove whose God is greater, that that he might get his uncompromising message across to the people of YeHoVaH/God. Today has been rough my friends. INSOMNIA is horrible! I still found the time to read the word today and felt led to write this. The theme dedication and no compromise was is in my reading for today. We join uncompromising Elijah on Mount Carmel with the prophets of Baal in 1 Kings 18. This is where Elijah taunts the prophets to prove whose God is greater, that that he might get his uncompromising message across to the people of YeHoVaH/God. This is a fairly well known passage in the Bible because it relays the story of one man, Elijah, making a stand for YeHoVaH/God against an evil king and 450 prophets of Baal. Elijah recommended that they have a competition to see whose God was stronger, and the prophets of Baal set up an offering on a wooden alter, asking Baal to send fire from heaven to consume the offering. After they failed, Elijah instructed the men to dig a trench around the altar and pour water over the offering until it was so saturated that the water overflowed and filled the trench. Elijah then called out to God, who sent fire to consume the offering, the water, the alter, the rocks, and even the dust around the altar. Seeing this, the people fell on their faces and worshipped the Lord. Elijah is unflinching in his devotion – He Follows YeHoVaH/God, the prophets of Baal do not, Elijah shows no compromise in delivering God’s verdict in this situation in order to have God’s people change direction and turn back to God. Elijah was uncompromising in delivering the message of relationship through these circumstances to all who were present and to all who would hear. That God wants to turn hearts towards himself in relationship. Elijah would not give up on this message. He was devoted to it and would not back down, give up or compromise on it. We too are invited to be like Elijah in the passage, we too are encouraged to stand our ground in an age where people are drawn away from God by other things. We too are heralds of a message of God’s desire for relationship. We too are ambassadors of his kingdom and his rule. We too are to be uncompromising in out character and manner of life. all for the benefit of others. Elijah had bottle, The question is do we? The problem for the prophets was that they were faltering between two opinions. This also was true of the nation as a whole. This is the definition of compromise. In Shinedown’s song we find the opposite sentiment “Without a doubt I’m on your side, There’s nowhere else that I would rather be, I’m not about to compromise,” The uncompromising truth was that Elijah stands for is displayed in verses 36-39. Amen?
🎶Is this love that I’m feeling,
Is this the love, that I’ve been searching for
Is this love or am I dreaming,
This must be love,
‘Cos it’s really got a hold on me,
A hold on me…🎶.
“Is This Love” became one of the most popular hits for Whitesnake. The song “Is This Love”? Is really about just that……… “LOVE”. It’s about a question? Behind the question is a hidden question, a deeper question. How do I identify love in the first place? Of course everyone needs love, deserves love, longs for love, and in a way cannot function properly as a human being unless they know love in some way. Whether in a marriage, or love that exists in a brotherhood, love that exists in friendship. Love helps us all function as human beings. The song is asking really “What does love look like?” There are as many books written on the subject of “Love” as the planets in the sky. Therapists offer love courses to identity the blockages to love. Even the church has cashed in on the scene. From the “Marriage Course” to the University of Notre Dame in the US offering a degree course in “Love” Theology.
Just think of the many songs that have been written about love in our lifetime and that appear on social media? We’re talking about all of iTunes, Amazon MP3, Google, YouTube, Topspin, Rhapsody, and now Facebook all have “Love” songs. It is reckoned that there are about 97 million songs that contain thoughts about love. I don’t know how the stats are researched but it gives us an idea that love is something that is prized and wanted by just about everyone on the planet. Facebook friends, the Bible is a book that speaks of love from the from the snake attacking Adam’s love in the garden, to king David giving into his base desires in 1 Samuel 11 and his prayer of wrong doing in Psalm 51. Love is seen in the prophets, in their fiery condemnation of the people of YeHoVaH for backsliding and turning away from His laws and His love for them. Love is seen in the book of proverbs the love of passing things down from father to son and the love demonstrated in Proverbs 31 with “The Good Wife” Love is seen in the book of song of Solomon, it’s the most erotic book in the bible. Love appears in the New Testament with Yeshua’s birth and thought his life he offers people love. He dies a death of love, because YeHoVaH loves us (John 3:16) Love offers a way to be free. Perhaps the most famous chapter in the New Testament is 1 Corinthians 13 – Which is the answer to the search for “What does love look like?” and how do I recognize it when I see it. “Is this Love” – Paul’s answer would be “Yes”. Is This Love”? – What does love look like. 1 Corinthians is a description of what Love looks like. Real love, dependable love – Love you can rely on. Love that remains. This is the kind of love you find in Yeshua It’s the kind of love that you should find in the church. I’ll leave you to figure out if you can see it in Our Fathers people or not. This is the kind of love that I’m longing for in all my relationships. The kind of love that is strong and true. I know that this love will make me a better man, a better father, a better friend and a better disciple of Yeshua. Have you found love? Are you like the song “Is This Love” trying to recognize love and are not sure? Where ever you are in life’s journey one thing is for sure…… You need love. This passage in 1 Corinthians helps us recognize it when it comes. Because infatuation and lust won’t stand the test of time, infatuation and lust will never sustain us though our whole life….. only love will. Amen? https://youtu.be/ujnH4yNqL8E

While reading the story of Ruth again today, I thought about the moment when their eyes met that fateful night. Many of us know the story of Ruth. She was a Moabitess who followed her mother in law Naomi to Israel. At Naomi’s suggestion, Ruth waited until Boaz has fallen asleep after threshing, uncovered his feet, and laid down beside them. Why would Ruth do that? Ruth was not just single, but she was a widow. Despite Boaz admiring her for her care of Naomi (and perhaps the fact that he was older than her), he may have been hesitant to pursue because of her time of mourning. By uncovering his feet and speaking to him the next morning, Ruth let him know that she wanted him to be her kinsman redeemer. But the choice belonged to Boaz. He could accept or he could refuse. Had he refused, Ruth and Naomi would have lived destitute lives but because of Boaz’s character and his care for those who worked for him, he clearly showed that he would step into the rescue. YeHovaH/God turned this seemingly bad situation into a marriage that would continue the lineage of the Messiah. Today Facebook friends, read Ruth 3:3, It is where Naomi tells Ruth to wash, anoint herself with oil, and then go down to Boaz. This is the fateful night when Boaz turns his eyes to her. In the same way, we want YeHoVaH/God’s eyes to turn to us. So how do we turn His eyes to us? We cleanse ourselves and adorn ourselves with the fragrant oil of the the Holy Spirit. Thus, the way to make yourself beautiful and live a life of sweetness is to live in the Spirit of YeHoVaH/God. It is only the Spirit of Him that can make a life truly sweet and beautiful. So take some beauty tips from Ruth today, bathe and cleanse yourself in YeHoVaH/God’s grace, apply the Spirit to your life liberally. Then go right into the presence of your Beloved, your Kinsman Redeemer and your life will be filled with His sweetness. Amen?
And now that I’ve grown older
I long for us to meet
I have a million questions
But most of all I want to see
If all of it was make believe
Another year has come and gone
I am living with your family
And I feel right at home
In the place where I always wanted to be
I’m going out this evening
I check the mirror twice
You stop me on the staircase
You kiss my hand and say that I look beautiful tonight
And I believe I was a gift to you from heaven
And I believe that you would take me as your own
I believe that you set the mark of what a man should be
Now I don’t have to make believe”
“Who You Are” by JJ Heller
All she wanted, was a baby to hold,
and she’s still waiting, at forty-one years old,
her life feels like a tragedy,
and its driving her down to her knees
she says “I don’t know, I don’t know what your doing, but I know who you are.”
It was after midnight, when he answered the phone,
the doctor said his daughter, was never coming home,
sometimes life doesn’t make any sense, of war and pain
and accident, he’s praying “I don’t know, I don’t know what your doing, but I know who you are.”
You are the fathers heart, and a love that’s wild,
and you know what it’s like to lose, yeah you know what
it’s like to lose, what it’s like to lose a child,
Sometimes I don’t know, I don’t know what your doing,
I don’t know, I don’t know what your doing, but I know who you are.
Today could be your last day. Today The Trumpet could sound, and it would be too late if you are not ready to go with Jesus. Don’t be left behind for the horror that is soon to come. Jesus is the ONLY way out of HELL and the Tribulation soon to come. The New World Order has everything set up, but it cannot be implemented until The Bride of Christ is removed.

THE DAYS OF NOAH
We are told that when Jesus comes again to rapture (harpazo) us home, that it will be like when it was in the days of Noah. This passage, frequently cited to by Biblical scholars and writers, indicates that it was a sign of the end times and as such, should be a condition that should alert us to the coming of the Lord.
37But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
These verses tell us that when the Son of Man appears again, people will be eating and drinking, marrying and giving up in marriage just as they did right up to the day when Noah went into the ark. Everything was normal, in other words, for those who were unaware of God’s intentions. However, for Noah and his family, it was clear that the time was coming when God would bring all of creation to an end.
Looking at the story of Noah contained in Genesis 6, the condition of the world was vexatious to the Lord. He looked down from His throne in heaven to find that corruption had filled the world. The perfect creation of His hands had become everything He did not intend.
1And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.3And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.4There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. 5And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.6And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.8But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. 9These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. 10And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.11The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.13And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
These were days that brought sorrow to the heart of God. As we look at this passage we see that giants walked the face of the earth as angels had mated with God’s creation thereby corrupting the flesh that God had created. This was the age of the Nephilim, the age of Nimrod, the age of men of renown. We now wonder if this was a time when many of the great ancient monuments were built such as the pyramids of Egypt, the Sphinx, Stonehenge, Easter Island and others. There are a number of ancient wonders that we cannot explain so we wonder if mighty men constructed these wonders.
Whatever the result, ultimately there was a judgment upon all of mankind. Previously, God had granted man long life but He then decided that life should be limited. Consequently, the term of man’s existence upon the earth after this would be one hundred twenty years. I know it sounds like a long time to us but in comparison to what man had been given, it was a dramatic reduction. Men would now be limited to a lifespan that was 1/8 of what it had been. For us, it would be like being told that your life would be over at ten years of age.
Many people concentrate upon the fact that everything would be “normal” before the end. However, I think that Jesus meant much more than just that. Otherwise, that is what He could have said. Instead, He gave us a metaphor stating that it would be like the “days of Noah”. So, what were the days of Noah like?
According to Genesis 6:5, God saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth. We hate to contemplate it but does wickedness run rampant today throughout the earth? As we look upon God’s creation and the moral fiber of the people who inhabit this earth, can we honestly say that we must please God?
Do we murder children such as those who offered their children in the fire to Molech? We don’t do such a thing. Instead, we offer our children to the god of greed, the god of mammon, the god of convenience and of money. We have aborted (murdered) 43 million babies since the decision in Roe v. Wade was written. Do you wonder how many babies have been murdered in China for the sake of population control or the desire to have male children? What about other nations through the world? Hitler had nothing on us. He only murdered 6 million Jews. He could have learned a thing or two from Planned Parenthood.
Jesus said that it would be like the days of Noah. In the days of Noah, the earth was filled with violence and corruption. The only righteous person in all the earth was Noah and his family. As we look upon God’s creation today, can we honestly say that it is not corrupt or violent? The answer is no, we cannot. The earth today is filled with violence and it is thoroughly corrupt. It is now as it was then.
Depressing? Pretty much but just as God saved a remnant then, He will save His remnant now. Do not despair for the days grow shorter. The time is coming when the trump will sound and our names will be called and we shall find ourselves removed from this state that plagues us now. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords is coming and when He does, all of His children will finally be called home never to suffer corruption again. My brothers and sisters, keeping looking up for our redemption draweth nigh. Jesus, Mighty King and Victorious Lord is coming with a might shout. Yes, it’s real, it’s very real.
This is the moment of Salvation. I encourage you to give your life to Jesus right now. Not another day is promised to any of us. He is waiting with open arms. Departure is imminent, and so is the horrific 7 year Tribulation. All things are possible with God. Put everything down and just Let Him in.
Are you tired of the same old thing? Are you frustrated with your relationships, your job (or lack of)? Are you depressed and living in despair? All is bleak, you’re broken and worn. Can’t take it anymore… What’s the point of it all?
The world is hurting right now. So many people are currently facing these dead-end type of situations and obstacles in their lives. More people than you can imagine are at their wits end right now. These problems are just monumental! They are like giant walls. We cannot get around nor climb over.
It’s no coincidence. Everything has gone haywire, but the world is too busy and spinning so fast that nobody can see what’s happening before their very eyes and in their very lives. And face it. We are distracted on every side with the smart phones, tablets, all sorts of electronic gadgets. Social Media..keeping up with everyone…spending lots of time online…movies, T.V. and all…
The point is that most people don’t want to deal with it. The truth isn’t always friendly. We don’t like being told we’re wrong-at least I know I don’t. But I was wrong about it all. Then I woke up to reality and saw the world for what it really is. And what a rude awakening is was when I realized how deep the pit was. The rut that I found myself in. I couldn’t cut it with today’s world and I was self medicating.
Making changes in our lives is quite uncomfortable. But one day I answered the door when The Lord Jesus Christ, The Son of The Living God Jehovah (The God of The Bible) came knocking. I could have ignored Him as many times before, but He came to me at a time when I just couldn’t make it anymore. I couldn’t do this thing called life. He set me free from the bondage of sin. The old me is gone forever and I’m forgiven, reconciled to God by the Blood our Lord Jesus shed on The Cross. He saved a wretch like me. If I can trust Jesus to get me out of the pit, you can too. It’s more than a decision. It’s a new way of life!
We come to God just as we are with our dirtiness and brokenness and open wounds. Then God makes us clean, BRAND NEW through Jesus Christ! You don’t come to God perfect. He accepts us as we are and erases the past!
Things are growing darker in this world today-and if you seek to know God through His Son Jesus, you will be able to see with spiritual eyes for yourself. Friend, things are only going to get worse and coming to Christ, belonging to God is the only way out. Jesus is going to come and take those that are His away from the looming 7 year Tribulation written of in the Bible, The Word of God. The New World Order is complete but cannot be implemented until The true followers of Christ are taken out of the way. The new one-world government, currency, Mark of The Beast (in the right hand or forehead…see Revelation Chapter 13) and revealing of the Antichrist (most likely Barack Obama, see Bible Verses About The Antichrist), Right now it’s considered “not cool” to stand for God through Jesus Christ, the ONLY WAY to God, unlike what Oprah and many other deceivers are teaching. It is considered hate speech to stand for an absolute right and believe in an absolute wrong. Nobody wants to offend anyone…
The Time is NOW. We aren’t guaranteed another breath. Choose Jesus and eternity in Heaven this moment BEFORE The Rapture!
Those who are left behind after the Rapture of the Church (When we are caught up with Jesus) will be faced with an excruciating choice—accept the mark of the beast in order to survive or face starvation and horrific persecution by the Antichrist and his followers. But those who come to Christ during this time, those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life (Revelation 13:8), will choose to endure, even to martyrdom.
