Let’s have us a little Revival. ♥

On the way back to the car along my blessed afternoon walk, I reached for my phone to put on something faster to wrap things up with some pep.  I wound up looking through Sara Evans songs. I came across Revival and because of the title, I had to listen. I looked for it on YouTube and I found this video about the song.

This song means a lot to me. I really enjoy it. It is my prayer that The Lord blesses all of you with a little revival in your hearts tonight as you listen to this song and sing along in your soul. The Lord is at work in the earth. It’s not over yet. These may be the end times, but God’s People are still here to be The Light! HalleluJah! A little revivial!

Amen to LOVE!

Daily Devotional with Mr. Jeffrey A. Hale 5.7.18 ♥

Tonight after watching Sammy Hagar‘s new tv show, I realized Sammy is a good man all around. His faith, his music and being a philanthropist. ( http://www.axs.tv/programs/sammy-hagar/ ) Here’s a lesson straight from the lips of the Red Rocker, Sammy Hagar himself, don’t you wait for things to happen, you need to make them happen on your terms.

🎶 Don’t wanna wait til tomorrow,
Why put it off another day?
One more walk through problems,
Built up, and stand in our way ,ah
One step ahead, one step behind me
Now you gotta run to get even
Make future plans, don’t dream about yesterday, hey
C’mon turn, turn this thing around…..Right Now🎶

“Right Now” is about living in the moment. It’s about making something happen now. It’s not a song about waiting but of turning something around. It’s a motivation song. It’s an action song. It’s a doing song. It’s not a song about playing it safe, but a song of risking all to make it happen. As Believers we like nothing better than playing it safe. We are those who when we are confronted by the risks of life first gather as many facts as possible, view the options, and make choices so that we are in control and reasonably certain of the outcome. Abraham did not gather the facts, view the options, was not in control and could not forsee the outcome. He took a risk. At times we tend to label risks as “undesirable” because in the end we do not trust and we believe that it could end up causing loss and heartache and trouble for us and others, we fear unwanted results as much as we dread missing out on our dreams. That would be enough to have us stay at home. We are also afraid of looking foolish or incompetent, incurring financial difficulty, or facing physical danger. From a human viewpoint, eliminating uncertainty makes a lot of sense. At times this attitude is not the perspective YeHoVaH has for you. Our Father’s perspective is that there are times for the followers of Yeshua to take risks! To launch out and be the change. There are times that we are encouraged to say yes despite what we can see in front of us. When He is the one asking us to step out of our comfort zone we can consider ourselves safe in His hands and safe under His direction. ( http://biblehub.com/kj2000/hebrews/11.htm ) Just Like Abraham in the passage. From YeHoVaH’s viewpoint, there is no uncertainty, because He has control over all things and He will never fail to accomplish His good purposes. ( Eph. 1:11 http://biblehub.com/kj2000/ephesians/1.htm ) Facebook friends, spiritual growth is stunted when we refuse to obey Him. Sometimes that involves leaving what is safe or familiar and like Abraham taking a journey into the unknown and doing it now. Abraham did not wait he made it happen, he caught that magic moment and did it “RIGHT NOW”. Amen? https://youtu.be/rMV-fenGP1g

Is It All Getting to You?

Are you tired of the same old thing? Are you frustrated with your relationships, your job (or lack of)? Are you depressed and living in despair? All is bleak, you’re broken and worn. Can’t take it anymore… What’s the point of it all?

doorBG

The world is hurting right now. So many people are currently facing these dead-end type of situations and obstacles in their lives. More people than you can imagine are at their wits end right now. These problems are just monumental! They are like giant walls. We cannot get around nor climb over.

It’s no coincidence. Everything has gone haywire, but the world is too busy and spinning so fast that nobody can see what’s happening before their very eyes and in their very lives. And face it. We are distracted on every side with the smart phones, tablets, all sorts of electronic gadgets. Social Media..keeping up with everyone…spending lots of time online…movies, T.V. and all…

The point is that most people don’t want to deal with it. The truth isn’t always friendly. We don’t like being told we’re wrong-at least I know I don’t. But I was wrong about it all. Then I woke up to reality and saw the world for what it really is.  And what a rude awakening is was when I realized how deep the pit was. The rut that I found myself in. I couldn’t cut it with today’s world and I was self medicating.

Making changes in our lives is quite uncomfortable. But one day I answered the door when The Lord Jesus Christ, The Son of The Living God Jehovah (The God of The Bible) came knocking. I could have ignored Him as many times before, but He came to me at a time when I just couldn’t make it anymore. I couldn’t do this thing called life. He set me free from the bondage of sin. The old me is gone forever and I’m forgiven, reconciled to God by the Blood our Lord Jesus shed on The Cross. He saved a wretch like me. If I can trust Jesus to get me out of the pit, you can too. It’s more than a decision. It’s a new way of life!

We come to God just as we are with our dirtiness and brokenness and open wounds. Then God makes us clean, BRAND NEW through Jesus Christ! You don’t come to God perfect. He accepts us as we are and erases the past!

Things are growing darker in this world today-and if you seek to know God through His Son Jesus, you will be able to see with spiritual eyes for yourself. Friend, things are only going to get worse and coming to Christ, belonging to God is the only way out. Jesus is going to come and take those that are His away from the looming 7 year Tribulation written of in the Bible, The Word of God.  The New World Order is complete but cannot be implemented until The true followers of Christ are taken out of the way. The new one-world government, currency, Mark of The Beast (in the right hand or forehead…see Revelation Chapter 13) and revealing of the Antichrist (most likely Barack Obama, see Bible Verses About The Antichrist),  Right now it’s considered “not cool” to stand for God through Jesus Christ, the ONLY WAY to God, unlike what Oprah and many other deceivers are teaching. It is considered hate speech to stand for an absolute right and believe in an absolute wrong.  Nobody wants to offend anyone…

The Time is NOW. We aren’t guaranteed another breath. Choose Jesus and eternity in Heaven this moment BEFORE The Rapture!

Those who are left behind after the Rapture of the Church (When we are caught up with Jesus) will be faced with an excruciating choice—accept the mark of the beast in order to survive or face starvation and horrific persecution by the Antichrist and his followers. But those who come to Christ during this time, those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life (Revelation 13:8), will choose to endure, even to martyrdom.

Soul Carrier

My body was never good enough as a teenager and into my early twenties. I had this poster of Britney Spears I held as my high standard. As close as I got…even being able to buy a single digit size 2 piece, It did NOT look like the poster! I absolutely did NOT look right. I shed so many pounds! I even did some toning and kickboxing and still no.

The fact is, not everybody’s body is gonna look like the 18 year old Britney Spears centerfold that I kept as a measuring tool!

I would NEVER accept the reality that only a small percentage of women have the physical makeup capable of pulling off a bikini look like hers.  But now, looking back as a 30 year old woman, I feel like a caged bird set free!!!

I found Recovery from my eating disorder at 22, but it was when I finally considered myself as my own unique type of beauty that things began to change. My stubborn self-criticizing mind fought it so hard. I resisted this new way of thinking to the max and then some.

Basically, to sum it up.,..

Through years of Bulimia, depression, therapy, Bipolar hospitalizations, eating disorder outpatient groups, and constant comparing myself to other women (famous and non-famous) I have learned that I am enough. I am okay. You see, for me it was all about rejection. The lies of the Devil himself led me to constant negative thought patterns, 24/7. I hated my life, my body…i hated myself. I was going against myself. My own worst enemy.*

*Note: I was NOT my own worst enemy. Satan, the devil himself was…and is now for everyone.

One day I had an awakening. This body of mine that I hated, the very cause of my unhappiness,  that I even self harmed over the years, was more than my body.

This is my Soul Carrier!

My flesh that I walk in and live in every day of my life contains something so delicate, so precious, so much more…

My Soul! My TRUE Being is operating from inside my now plus-sized, unique body. Becoming a Christian makes this the Temple of God. I am not my own. I was bought at a price. Though I didn’t believe that for years, the freedom I have NOW within the knowledge that I was believing lies…is priceless. Yes, ultimately it is

Jesus = freedom. You know in the Bible there’s a verse for this feeling.

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
-Philippians 4:7

It is possible to absolutely hate yourself, what you look like & think your life is over…and still overcome it all to find peace that is out of this world. I’m here to tell you it can be done, no matter what the circumstances. Everybody has their own personal story and journey. All of the clothes I bought in debt, gym memberships, and all other attempts to perfect this look i had in my head, totally don’t have to have ’em! I am beautiful, fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God Himself, just as you are! Shopping sprees, binging on sweets and stuff only puts a Band-Aid on the pain. There is relief. Peace, out of this world.

When You Need Help … but Don’t Want to Admit It.

Chrystal Evans Hurst By CHRYSTAL EVANS HURST

“I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’” Psalm 91:2 (NIV)

As a single woman in my twenties, I took a trip to San Francisco for my job.

Not only did I work, but I made time to play. My favorite part of the trip was a bike ride across the Golden Gate Bridge.

I rented a bike, complete with a helmet and a map, and set off down the coast.

I rode the few miles to the bridge, cruised across the bay, sailed mostly downhill towards the tiny, quaint town of Sausalito, then caught the ferry back to the mainland.

A few years later, I made the trip again to San Francisco with a few friends to relive the wonderful memory of that ride and build some new memories as well.

We rode the few miles to the bridge, cruised across the bay and made the right turn to sail with ease towards Sausalito.

It only took a few seconds for us to pick up speed as we biked downhill. But then I sensed I was going a tad too fast. So I tapped on my brakes.

Seconds later, I only remember the dawning realization that I was in the middle of the road and needed to crawl to the shoulder for safety.

While my friends rushed toward me, I sat dazed, trying to piece together what had happened and figure out what should happen next.

All I could think was I needed to get myself together so I could get back on that bike and head toward Sausalito. I had come to San Fran on a mission and I wanted to finish the journey.

But that finish would not come.

Not long after, a paramedic approached me from the ambulance someone had called and squatted down on his haunches to ask me if I knew my name and the day. You know … the type of questions asked of an injured person who has just been thrown from their bike. I tried to convince him I was okay.

I told him I thought I could still finish. I told him that after I’d completed my goal of biking to Sausalito, then I would go to the hospital to figure out what was wrong with my body. Needless to say, he advised against my gallant ideas.

I needed help. I didn’t want it, but I needed it.

Sometimes life is like that. We are cruising along and something goes wrong. We sit dazed, trying to piece together what has happened and what we should do next, not realizing we are hurt and in need of help.

We may not want it, but we need it. We may try to convince others we are okay, when it’s clear we are not.

I reluctantly agreed to get into the ambulance and take the ride to the local emergency room where I later realized I had a broken finger, a fractured elbow and a sizable puncture in my chin.

That ambulance. The beautiful thing about that ambulance is it arrived quickly when I was in trouble.

In the same way, God is a very present help when you are in trouble. When you call Him, He will be there. Right where you are. Even if you are on the side of the road.

And just like I found refuge in the ambulance and at that hospital, you can find refuge in God.

You may be reluctant to admit you need help. Or you may be reluctant to pause and give God your situation so He can help you. Can I encourage you today to let God help?

He can soothe you with His Word, send reinforcements through His people and provide answers to your prayers.

Seek Him today. He loves to help those who are in trouble and He is an expert at fixing the source of pain and setting the hurting on a path to healing.

Dear God, I need Your help. I’m hurting and I need You to help me address my source of pain and set me on a path to healing. Please show me where I can get help in Your Word or through Your people. Help me be patient as I wait for You to answer my prayers. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Godssalvation

Faith, Hope, Jesus, Life, pain, peace

The Blessing of a New Week. Another day. Breathing. Freedom. Life.

On the darkest of days, and loneliest of nights…when your head hits the pillow.

You’re replaying what happened. The things you wish you hadn’t said, over and over in your mind. Mistakes and heartaches.

But you know, just when you’ve pretty much given up…God in Heaven says you can do this, you can overcome.

When you’re baptized and receive the Holy Spirit who comes to dwell within you, you’re a force to be reckoned with.

Thus, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” 1 John 4:4

I know this concept is huge, but because the Cross was enough-that Jesus’ Blood covers all sin, and in Him (alone) there is Salvation. Jesus Christ paid the debt of SIN for all mankind. So, if you choose to accept Jesus and be baptized, you’re then bought and paid for in FULL! Walking with Him and living faithful all the days of your life will be ever rewarding some day very soon. Oh, what it’s like to be loved and cared for in such a beyond-profound way… 🙂

Hope Tonight

Tonight, as I was skimming through the Gospel of John, I came across verse 22 of Chapter 16, and felt a sense of relief come over me. The letters in red, the very Words of our Jesus called out to me tonight. I am so grateful for this verse of hope tonight, in a world full of uncertainty. God is our sustenance, He’s Everything. Our Rock. Jesus, the only true friend we can count on, guaranteed without fail. God the Father to the father-less…and Husband to the widow. Blessed be His Holy Name!

I put the text on a Background via Google.

Look up, dear ones…your redemption draweth nigh…
