Is It All Getting to You?

Are you tired of the same old thing? Are you frustrated with your relationships, your job (or lack of)? Are you depressed and living in despair? All is bleak, you’re broken and worn. Can’t take it anymore… What’s the point of it all?

doorBG

The world is hurting right now. So many people are currently facing these dead-end type of situations and obstacles in their lives. More people than you can imagine are at their wits end right now. These problems are just monumental! They are like giant walls. We cannot get around nor climb over.

It’s no coincidence. Everything has gone haywire, but the world is too busy and spinning so fast that nobody can see what’s happening before their very eyes and in their very lives. And face it. We are distracted on every side with the smart phones, tablets, all sorts of electronic gadgets. Social Media..keeping up with everyone…spending lots of time online…movies, T.V. and all…

The point is that most people don’t want to deal with it. The truth isn’t always friendly. We don’t like being told we’re wrong-at least I know I don’t. But I was wrong about it all. Then I woke up to reality and saw the world for what it really is.  And what a rude awakening is was when I realized how deep the pit was. The rut that I found myself in. I couldn’t cut it with today’s world and I was self medicating.

Making changes in our lives is quite uncomfortable. But one day I answered the door when The Lord Jesus Christ, The Son of The Living God Jehovah (The God of The Bible) came knocking. I could have ignored Him as many times before, but He came to me at a time when I just couldn’t make it anymore. I couldn’t do this thing called life. He set me free from the bondage of sin. The old me is gone forever and I’m forgiven, reconciled to God by the Blood our Lord Jesus shed on The Cross. He saved a wretch like me. If I can trust Jesus to get me out of the pit, you can too. It’s more than a decision. It’s a new way of life!

We come to God just as we are with our dirtiness and brokenness and open wounds. Then God makes us clean, BRAND NEW through Jesus Christ! You don’t come to God perfect. He accepts us as we are and erases the past!

Things are growing darker in this world today-and if you seek to know God through His Son Jesus, you will be able to see with spiritual eyes for yourself. Friend, things are only going to get worse and coming to Christ, belonging to God is the only way out. Jesus is going to come and take those that are His away from the looming 7 year Tribulation written of in the Bible, The Word of God.  The New World Order is complete but cannot be implemented until The true followers of Christ are taken out of the way. The new one-world government, currency, Mark of The Beast (in the right hand or forehead…see Revelation Chapter 13) and revealing of the Antichrist (most likely Barack Obama, see Bible Verses About The Antichrist),  Right now it’s considered “not cool” to stand for God through Jesus Christ, the ONLY WAY to God, unlike what Oprah and many other deceivers are teaching. It is considered hate speech to stand for an absolute right and believe in an absolute wrong.  Nobody wants to offend anyone…

The Time is NOW. We aren’t guaranteed another breath. Choose Jesus and eternity in Heaven this moment BEFORE The Rapture!

Those who are left behind after the Rapture of the Church (When we are caught up with Jesus) will be faced with an excruciating choice—accept the mark of the beast in order to survive or face starvation and horrific persecution by the Antichrist and his followers. But those who come to Christ during this time, those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life (Revelation 13:8), will choose to endure, even to martyrdom.

Go Get My Children…

Brothers & Sisters, do not grow weary. We must keep fighting the good fight until He returns. Jesus, coming in the clouds will be a terrifying shock for some, and a long awaited, sigh of relief for God’s children. So much hate, evil, and war in this world… It can’t be very long now, but only God knows the hour…Lets thank Him for blessing our country with the freedoms that we have, and pray that our nation will not fall—that He won’t give up on America, though it seems to really be giving up on Him. God bless everyone today.

If Bipolar Is personal for you, this Hits Home! Let’s do something about it!

See where it happened here on Fox News, & listen to the phone call between Host Tom Sullivan and a successful woman who actually is living her life while managing Bipolar disorder.

Sullivan states in the call that Bipolar disorder is “something made up by the mental health business” and just “the latest fad.”  He then suggested that perhaps “”maybe somebody’s talked you into feeling and thinking this way.”

The caller later challenged Sullivan over his remarks, saying she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder thirteen years ago and mental health treatment allowed her to graduate from college and obtain a full-time job. The caller, who now volunteers with Stop Stigma Sacramento, noted that bipolar disorder isn’t a made up illness and is biological.

The rest of the dialogue is just unbelievable.

See & hear the rest below:

There’s currently a petition ongoing about all this:

Ignorant FOX Host Says Bipolar Disorder is “Made Up” – Demand an Apology and Retraction

Let’s kick the stigma!

No offense intended. Just for fun.

Never a dull moment!

When stress just pushes you too far…

Bahaha..

Silly, but maybe cute.

In a world obsessed with leggings, now used as just tight, very revealing pants to show off one’s assets…no one is immune…

lol

Happy Funny Friday!!!!!!!!

Ready for Bed?

Lay down not only your body tonight, but all of your worries, doubts, & fears of anxiety as well. Spread out comfortably in bed and take a moment to ponder this night. All of today is now a memory and part of the past. If you see the dawn, you’ve received the gift of another day, another chance to do what it is you need to do, to make a difference in the lives of others, to share your story and inspire others. Tomorrow could be the best day of your life. That miracle you’ve been praying for could unravel this day.

Either way, my friend, remember that the absence of anxieties and fear is called faith. Where there is actual and 100% faith there is no doubt, fear, or worry. Faith is a growing thing. Over time and with practice and input it becomes greater, packing such a powerful punch. You know you’re gonna get knocked down from time to time. That’s life. But with faith…there is no doubt in all the fibers of your being on earth. You stand fearless, knowing there will be pain, which is unpleasant and uncomfortable…but you know in your heart…your SOUL. You know you can. You know who you are.

You know this because you know Him.

You know God.

He’s listening as you get into bed, and the rest of the time 24/7. Talking to Him can be as short and easy as “Help!” He knows what you need before you even ask.

The Creator of the Universe flung the shimmery stars into His velvety night sky, twinkling as diamonds. Like the moon, and the sun they testify to His great Power & Glory every moment in every day.

Close your eyes. No matter where you are. The eastern or western world. Persecuted, or tormented inside of yourself. God’s got this.

The Spiritual Toolbox.

I sat pondering life in general the other day, and It dawned on me that I have a spiritual toolbox. I have a spiritual toolbox where I’ve stored tools and concrete plans for human life on earth that one cannot see with  eyes. Inside of this awesome and vital life accessory, you will find my prayers, my soul guidelines: my life’s lessons learned, morals and beliefs according to The Word of God in the Bible-the ideas that govern the way I choose to live my life. The instruction Manual for Salvation…Eternal Life! 🙂

Along with these, there’s record of my baptism to remind me of who I became in 1999. Of course The Word of God is at the heart of this box. I am not very knowledgeable in the Word as I could be now, but I am growing and pursuing the closest relationship with Jesus that I could ever know nowadays.

I recently read in a bible study guide (by Jennie Allen, an awesome Christian author whose work I am really beginning to admire) about how we as human beings have ideas of what we feel are our rights, and we feel strongly about our rights. Jennie wasn’t just talking about as a citizen of a nation, or in a world sense, but on a personal-living scale.

*By the way, I have come to find that for me, using a study-workbook to aid in my understanding of the Bible on a private, at home level is simply awesome! I am finding out more and more about God, growing closer to Him as He draws closer to me, and even learning about myself as a Christian because the questions and prompts in these study books really bring it out of ya.

When on the page in my study workbook asked me what I believe my rights are, a light came on.

Vanity. The quality of people who have too much pride in their own appearance, abilities, achievements, etc. : the quality of being vain.

Wow. This is the core of all of my problems. The sorrow that I’ve been reveling for the longest time (as you can even see in many of my blog posts) lies in this sin, this concept that was put in me at a very young age and I kept for the rest of my life. My priorities haven’t been straight! I’ve wanted to be somebody, when really, the somebody that i need to be is the character that I am currently developing. I have evolved as a Christian and individual this past year more than ever.

All things of this world will surely pass away.

I think that true wealth in the human sense is health. If we are achieving and maintaining health at its optimum level while living on earth, we are rich (aside from things like meaningful relationships-love and stuff). I mean, we take nothing with us in a physical sense when we pass away. All that is left here on this planet are the things we owned/possessed (Maybe things that we were once so eager to buy, or were blessed to have). Those that survive us divide those things and the circle of life continues without us.

The way we treated others, the extra mile we went for the sake of right, the energy and time we devoted to reaching out to our fellow human beings and bringing glory to God, helping each other… Deeds are the makeups of Heaven! The more work we put into love down here, the more work we will find we have put into our Heavenly home!

See Matthew 6:19-21

19“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20“But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; 21for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

We are born here and we die here.

Contentment and Faith in my life…

Before, if I wanted something so bad which meant very much to me, In fear, I would instantly begin crossing my fingers, wishing and praying it would not slip away, and still be available when I could get it.

Worry. to think about problems or fears : to feel or show fear and concern because you think that something bad has happened or could happen.

Now at 29 I know in my heart that if there is something I am supposed to have on this earth there is no need to fear or worry over it because everything is in God’s hands. In the Bible there are verses about how God takes care of the birds of the air. They do not have to worry about what they will eat for He sees after them. Also,  the Lilies of the field are clothed so beautifully…So how much more will He do for you and I? (See Matthew 6:26-28)

Faith. strong belief or trust in someone or something. (In this case, God.)

I am in the very midst of a spiritual awakening in this moment.

Things.

Distractions and reactions.

Let us think on our own personal, unique, and Divine soul purpose.

Building things like projects, houses, or machines, vs. adding equity into my eternal home where I hope to reside forever with The Father. Love. The Trinity; Father, Son, Holy Spirit. All of God’s children will live a life that never ends, without broken hearts or bodies that break.

Forever in Paradise vs. the eternal Hell

I don’t know about you, but 99% of the time when I think of the afterlife of an eternity, I ponder on Heaven and not Hell. I grew up in a non-denominational Church of Christ where I was educated about both places in Sunday school. However, it wasn’t up until now that I’ve really give anything at all this much thought.

God has shown me this year that all I need is simply God! His Grace is sufficient for me…

2 Corinthians 12:9

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

I can tell when the hunger in my belly is satisfied and all that’s left is simply spiritual hunger. Its odd that they can feel the same and be so different, right? There has been a long and terrible famine of God’s Word in my life for years. I am getting back into the Bible now and in doing so I have begun to figure myself out! I did not expect it to transform me in such a huge manner because for the longest time my faith was very weak.

The Bible is not just a boring book full of ancient facts and stuff we have heard over and over and we already know (as I honestly used to think…). Once you really apply yourself and get into things, you will become enlightened in so many ways.

God bless ❤

Stability Is a Way of Life

Following up with yesterday’s post…

I’ve decided I do not want a job or to go down a path of career. Money means nothing to me. I know I must be able to get by-and I am, but I have no desire to become a certified corporate example of success. I’m not that invincible, giddy, highly impulsive, 18 year old girl now. I am a 29 year old woman in an entirely different place in life, worlds away from the manic college student. No degree, but I did get 60 hours. Sixty hours…until it all went down. Until it all caught up with me and the euphoria became rage.

I guess what hurts the most is that I’m in the waiting room and not back in my office, behind the front desk… The whole therapist career plan  is so ironic now. In school, they fill our heads with college this and that and their definition of success. Then when reality hits us right in the face years down the road, we’re left lost, to start from scratch, with a library of self-help books. I have nothing against self-help books because I myself have a personal library. Indeed they do provide great tips and insights as to bringing about positive change in life and much more, but we are all unalike. Our brain chemistries vary. Bipolar disorder is complex, person to person.

People who desire to lose weight often go on a diet to achieve the ultimate weight-loss results they so desire. They see it as a fix. An answer. That’s not the case with those of us living with Bipolar disorder. There is no fix, and as far as I know, no cure. It’s maintenance. Success is finding the sought after even line in life and maintaining it. Bipolar success is found in sorting things out in therapy-finding coping mechanisms as opposed to self-medicating. It’s about finding a psychiatrist/medical provider that suits you, and the right medications (which can take a while, as in more than one year…patience). Living with Bipolar disorder is a way of life, not a diet. By now most of us know that diets do not work. In order to achieve the best body and health possible, we must change our lifestyle and live it out until we pass away.

Bipolar stability is a way of life, not a pill.

Take care of your body so that you can take care of your mind. When we follow our treatment plans religiously, then we can expect to see results. Nobody wants to go from living wildly and free to staying in bed during the trial and error of Bipolar medications. But hey, in this case doing what we don’t want to do can save our lives.
