Personal Journey

Do You Know What it’s like?

Have you ever had a friend come to you for advice or just looking for a shoulder to cry on? Maybe on some accounts you had no idea what to say. Maybe their pain was too heavy. Maybe you just could not relate at all, so all you could do was listen?

Jesus/Yeshua knows what it’s like every time.

Yeshua knows what the worst of the worst feels like.

Sometimes as human beings we just feel alone. Sometimes we feel like absolutely NOBODY gets it! We sit and scream in frustration. We grit our teeth and throw punches. Maybe you hang up on people… Maybe you don’t answer the door. Maybe you keep a journal. Maybe you pray. Whatever the case, we all suffer and have hard times in this life.  That is when you can look to The Cross and see that The Lord Jesus/Yeshua paid for you and every moment of pain is not in vain. God has plans for all of us. ♥

All this reminds me of these lyrics:

“When you feel like you’re alone in your sadness
And it seems like no one in this whole world cares
And you want to get away from the madness
You just call my name and I’ll be there
You just call my name and I’ll be there.”

Check out this song by Christian rock band Third Day called “Call My Name.”

“Call My Name” lyrics

It’s been so long since you felt like you were loved
So what went wrong
But do you know there’s a place where you belong
Here in my armsWhen you feel like you’re alone in your sadness
And it seems like no one in this whole world cares
And you want to get away from the madness
You just call my name and I’ll be there
You just call my name and I’ll be there

The pain inside has erased your hope for love
But soon you will find
That I’ll give you all that your heart could ever want
And so much more

You just call my name
You just call my name

Call my name, say it now
I want you to never doubt
The love I have for you is so alive

Call my name, say it now
I want you to never doubt
The love I have for you is so alive

You just call my name
You just call my name
You just call my name now

The love I have for you is so alive
The love I have for you is so alive
You just call my name
You just call my name
You just call my name

All of this brings me to my point. The Lord started this blog post with His own Word. Here are a couple of Amazing Verses from The Bible. My personal favorite chapter in The Word of God is Isaiah 53 because I really appreciate how my Savior poured out His Soul, for my broken soul and all the rest of the brokenhearted. For ALL the world… ♥

Isaiah 53:11-12 King James Version (KJV)

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Precious readers, you are beautiful. God loves you so much that He gave His only Begotten Son for you. In all honesty, I don’t fully understand it myself. Day by Day The Spirit of God teaches me and The Lord Yeshua Himself opens up His Heart and my eyes to help me understand The Cross and what He did for me, for ALL of the world. All of us!

I love Yeshua because He is so good, He is so tender. God became a man and took EVERYTHING for us, so The most Precious Fellowship between Father God (our Creator) and His Creation would be restored! It’s a learning process. The human heart can harden. The human heart can break. The soul can be broken. Our pain can clog up our feelings. This is why we read of Amazing verses like this one below:

Psalm 51:10  (KJV)

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Have you ever heard of being jaded?

According to Merriam-Webster,

Definition of jaded

1 : fatigued by overwork : exhausted

  • a jaded horse

2 : made dull, apathetic, or cynical by experience or by having or seeing too much of something

  • jaded network viewers
  • jaded voters

The Aerosmith song Jaded comes to mind. I am not promoting it, but I remember when I was a teenager and the song Jaded was a smash hit on mainstream radio. I recall the music video. According to ultimateclassicrock.com the video synopsis is this:

A young woman who’s numb to the touch of reality and eventually comes to her senses by escaping the decadence of her grand surroundings.

Lyrics to Jaded by Aerosmith

[Verse 1]
Hey j-j-jaded, you got your mama’s style
But you’re yesterday’s child to me
So jaded
You think that’s where it’s at
But is that where it’s supposed to be
You’re getting it all over me, ex-rated

[Chorus]
My my baby blue
Yeah I been thinking about you
My my baby blue
Yeah you’re so jaded
And I’m the one that jaded you

[Verse 2]
Hey j-j-jaded
In all it’s misery
It will always be what I love and hated

And maybe take a ride to the other side
We’re thinking of
We’ll slip into the velvet glove
And be jaded

[Chorus]
My my baby blue
Yeah I’m thinking about you
My my baby blue
Yeah I’m so jaded
And baby I’m afraid of you

[Verse 3]
Your thinking’s so complicated
I’ve had it all up to here

But it’s so overrated
Love and hated
Wouldn’t trade it
Love me jaded
Hey j-j-jaded
There ain’t no baby please
When I’m shooting the breeze with her
When everything you see is a blur
And ecstasy’s what you prefer

[Outro]
My my baby blue
Yeah I’m talking about you

My my baby blue
Yeah I’ve been thinking about you
My my baby blue
Yeah you’re so jaded
Baby
Jaded
Baby
You’re so jaded
Because I’m the one that jaded you

White Oleander

I like the above quote from The Movie White Oleander. That’s another blog post in itself, but I think that’s really cool. I can personally relate to that as well…

Glory to God, all of this stuff so far brings back even more discussion.

When this song came out, I was a very troubled young girl. I loved this song because that is how I felt. Jaded.

bulimiame

I was constantly being rejected by people, especially men (boys at the time) in the romantic sense of relationships. It all goes back to my testimony that The Lord revealed this year.

I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. All of these feelings ran on and on like a broken record until after many giant, heavy mistakes, The Lord intervened and saved me. He’s so Good! God has resurrected me in all my ashes, giving me His Beauty. I am far better off than when I was first broken. I am no longer jaded. I AM ALIVE.

I Praise The LORD for resurrecting my brain and intellect.

I Praise The LORD for healing and restoring my body and soul.

I Praise The LORD that He has made me FREE!

Freedom is for EVERYBODY and it’s FREE! Glory to God!

PRAISE YESHUA!  †
