The Orphan Spirit–dealing with rejection

I asked my friend to put me on the prayer list, because I never feel like I belong anywhere. Now this was at my bible study group where I have been attending for 3 or 4 years and they are the greatest bunch of ladies you could ever meet. But there was still something inside telling me I didn’t belong.

Someone must have prayed (!) because God started leading me to all kinds of information about the “orphan spirit.” Long story short: When Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, their link as children of God was broken. They were now servants of the earth, condemned to work hard to farm the land.

Jesus reversed the curse, and told us that we are now His “friends” and that He was going back to the Father who loves us. ( John 14)   Paul tells us in Romans…
