Strangers in a Foreign Land

Oh, how the sunshine falls on the trees…

The beautiful songs the birds do sing…

A cloudless, blue sky above me…

Today I was free.

In a world where faith is hard to find,

And hearts so disconnected from the mind…

In whom does all their trust rely?

I woke up at the end of time.

Intentions, inventions, all the plans that I had…

Body soon immortal and I’ll be reunited with my dad.

Jesus will dry our tears, forever happy, no more sad.

Everyone matters where all is love, nothing bad.

How does God feel when He looks down below?

Share Jesus now so they can’t say they didn’t know.

This show’s about over and we’re almost home.

No more strangers in a foreign land, we’re out of here, Shalom!

As long as you’re still breathing there’s time.
